Associate Engineer/ Technician (AMHS & Support)

We’re searching for a Technician/ Associate Engineer to be part of our Automation & System Department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to perform equipment preventive maintenance competently for AMHS, Conveyor & Stockers.

 

What you will be working on:

  • Troubleshoot AMHS equipment-related problems (Basic recovery/Parts replacement).
  • Handling of Material Controlling System (MCS)
  • Identifying various AMHS, conveyor choke points for production and provide alternative route/solution to minimize the impact.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and IT engineers to ensure work is carried out efficiently to meet production objectives
  • Managing Continuous Improvement Projects for AMHS, conveyor, stocker system.
  • Manage/drive vendors' performance to meet/exceed automation equipment KPI and goals.
  • Document SOP, recovery/PM procedures and best known methods for automation equipment to allow more efficient work flow and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct training and Mentor, and develop senior assistant engineers and below.
  • Control and optimize spare parts inventory to minimize cost without undue equipment down time due to parts not available.
  • To participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) program to response during emergency situation.

More about you:

  • Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent fields
  • Willing to work in swing shift
  • Good communication and self-driven
