Responsibilities:

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and PCBA, down to the component level, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

Read technical diagrams and blueprints.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Analyse and optimize electronic systems for performance, reliability, and cost

Conduct research and development activities to advance electronic technology

Develop and execute testing plans and procedures to validate electronic systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems with mechanical and software components

Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate electronic design concepts and results

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in electronic technology
Requirements:
-
Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Engineering or equivalent (Microelectronics, Mechatronics, Electrical)

2+ years of experience in electronics repair and maintenance, including component level troubleshooting.

Knowledge of electrical theory and principles, and application to the repair and troubleshooting of electronic equipment.

Work experience with semiconductor industrial and wafer fabrication (preferred)

Experience to repair wafer fabrication equipment such as RF Generator, RF Matches, high voltage power supplies, servo motor driver/controller will be added advantage

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
