Talent Acquisition Manager

  • Supervise a team of talent acquisition specialists with various level of experiences
  • Develop and implemenet strategies to acquire the right talent to meet business and oprationaln needs of SSMC
  • Oversee the daily progress of all open requisitions and aim towards closure within targetted TTF (Time to Fill)
  • Be hands-on and perform end-to-end talent acquisition process for requisitions of Manageral & above roles
  • Partner with hiring managers in understanding job scopes, talent needs and challenges faced to close the open requisitions
  • Oversee other talent acquisition programs including Internal Job Mobility, referrals, internships, scholarships, career fairs and industry events
  • Work closely with Marketing Communication steam on company branding initiatives and aim towards making SSMC the Employer of Choice
  • Collaborate with recruitment agencies on talent needs and manage all vendor management activities and internal processes
  • Lead/ participate in HR digitalization projects relating to Talent Acquisition and other HR sections
  • Review and update SOPs, Operating Instructions and internal forms/ documents aligning to Employment Act, Quality Management Systems and market practice
  • Manage KPI and reports to Manager/ HODs
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, maintenance and integrity of all HR-related systems, folders, documents, databases, etc.
  • Support internal and external audit activities
  • Support timely renewals of job portals
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor


  • Degree in HR/ Business Administration
  • Degree in other specialisation supported with years of relevant TA experiences
  • Min 8 years of Talent Acquisition experiences
  • Industry experiences and knowledge in Semiconductor/ Engineering/ Manufacturing
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act
  • Understanding of policy and procedure for recruitment and talent management
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruitment using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Proficient in Ms Office applications
  • Experience in SAP is an added advantage
  • Result-oriented strive to meet KPI/ deadlines
  • Well-organized, meticulous, resourceful and independent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
