Responsibilities:
- To manage the chemical, slurry and gas systems including chemical waste collection systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for chemical, slurry and gas systems including chemical waste collection systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
- Manage on-site Total Gas and Chemical Management (TGCM) and Bulk Gas Plant contractors to ensure excellence in operations, maintenance, quality standards and safety compliance.
- Respond to issue and perform troubleshooting with on-site TGCM team, Bulk Gas Plant operations team and contractors.
- Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams on excursion root cause identification, elimination and prevention.
- Track system capacity to meet Manufacturing requirement.
- Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise all improvement or upgrading or new projects for chemical, slurry, gas and chemical waste system.
- Include good design practice for state-of-the-art system designs, system capacity and capability analysis, planning for future requirements, and code compliance.
- Work in a team effort with other engineering, operations, maintenance, and construction disciplines to provide detailed designs and specifications for the installation of new capital equipment and systems.
- Identify and implement new technologies for chemical, slurry and gas systems for process breakthrough.
- Carry out cost estimates, analysis, cost and schedule estimates as well as justification of proposed projects.
- Responsible for maintaining various administrative and engineering database in support of job tracking, engineering data, and costing.
- Provide support for new chemical and gas evaluations.
- Plan and execute specialty gas system release/unhooking.
- Review and improve Operation and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedure and Risk Assessment.
- Support ISEP and Facilities operations concerning chemical, slurry and gas management/operations/storage/maintenance works.
- Carry out FMEAs (Failure Model and Effect Analysis), eliminate single points of failure and mitigate risks.
- Analyze systems to identify improvements that will result in better performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.
- Work with Quality department to ensure the quality of chemicals, slurries and spec gas.
- Be aware of and perform all works in accordance with company safety guidelines.
- Benchmark with other sites on operational, procedural, engineering, and design BKM of Facilities buildings and systems.
- Site representative to support corporate requests and assignments.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent studies
- Min 4 years of relevant working experience
